Rap started between the years of lates 1970s and 1984, Mostly in West and East of America. Hiphop from this period is now called ‘Old College Rap'.
Hip hop started by people rhyming in poetry and using beats with it, poems was a superb influence upon rap, typically Old School Rap. They common instruments inside the Rap beat could quite simply be any kind of beat, usually a short 4-8 loop with alot of base.

Old School Rap is basically words with a conquer, basically telling a story, generally about life or have difficulty, some hip hop is also regarding love, although most is all about life. But , New Hiphop is mostly about Money, Sexual and Fame. This is a single reason why many people prefer Old School Rap over New Hip hop.
Tupac Amaru Shakur (Stage name 2Pac or Makaveli) is an American Old School Rapper, born on the 16th of June the year of 1971, and Died* on the thirteenth of Sept. 2010 1996. Tupac was born within the East Harlem area of Manhattan in New York and was named after Tupac Amaru the II, he was born to his mom, Afeni Shakur and his Biological father, Billy Garland. Both of Tupac's parents were active members inside the Black Panther Party World which was a African-American Self-protection anti-racism group.
Tupac Shakur as a child, was not really into rap, he started writing poetry, about his life and point of views. As of this period, browsing poems aloud was essentially rap. Tupac was a lyrical genius and so everyone adored his function.
